**The roster** Fourteen US names we actually work. What we are watching on each, including the launches on SpaceX and Rocket Lab.

**Desk Note · 29 Aug 2026**

This is the list Dark Stone Capital actually works. Fourteen US stocks. If a name is not here, we are not looking at it. We already wrote a plan for each one. That is the only reason it made the list.

We buy a name when it comes back to a cheap price we already marked. We sell it when it gets back to an expensive one we already marked. Last Friday, August 28, no name on this list closed in its cheap area. Cash is the position. The list is what we watch, not what we own.

QQQ is not on the roster. We use it to check the Nasdaq first. We already marked a band from 660 to 680\. If QQQ is below that band, we do not buy any of these names, even if one of them looks cheap. Last Friday QQQ closed at 716\. Last week’s low stayed above 680\. The sit line held. Next week, Friday’s jobs report can move that check. In September, the Fed meeting on the 15th and 16th can too. A speech does not.

**Apple (AAPL).** Last Friday Apple closed around 320\. The cheap area we already marked is 300 to 310\. Price lived in that band most of last week, then closed above it. That is a used floor, not a new idea. The expensive print around 344 already tagged at the end of July. We are watching whether 300 to 310 stays a floor. We are not chasing 320.

**Alphabet (GOOGL).** Last Friday Alphabet closed around 347\. This is the closest name on the list. The cheap area we already marked is the low 330s to 340\. Last week’s low came into that zone and the week still closed above it. The expensive area already printed in early August in the high 370s to low 380s. For next week and for September we are watching whether that old floor is still a floor. Close is not a buy.

**Amazon (AMZN).** Last Friday Amazon closed around 266\. The cheap area we already marked is the low 220s. 266 is not a zone we wrote. There is no expensive box on the card. We are watching the 220s. Until price comes back there, we sit.

**Microsoft (MSFT).** Last Friday Microsoft closed around 514\. The cheap area we already marked is 477, with a much lower band at 349 to 356\. There is no new expensive box on the card. Last week made a new short-range high. A new high is not a cheap area. We sit.

**Meta (META).** Last Friday Meta closed around 578\. The cheap area we already marked is 520 to 540\. The expensive area is 608 to 612, already tagged in mid-August. 578 sits between those two old prices. Between is not a buy. We are watching whether 520 to 540 gets used again.

**NVIDIA (NVDA).** Last Friday NVIDIA closed around 218\. NVIDIA already reported this past week. There is no cheap buy zone on this name. The expensive plateau we already wrote is 228 to 229\. Last week tagged it and left. We are not looking to buy it. Sit.

**Tesla (TSLA).** Last Friday Tesla closed around 349\. The cheap area we already marked is 295 to 300\. That band tagged once at the end of July, then price left. 348 is a bounce, not a new floor. The expensive area is 366 to 370, already kissed. We are watching 295 to 300\. We are not buying a bounce in the 340s.

**AMD (AMD).** Last Friday AMD closed around 466\. The cheap area we already marked is 424 to 437\. Last print is above it. The expensive print at 517 already tagged in August. We are watching 424 to 437\. 466 is not that.

**Arm (ARM).** Last Friday Arm closed around 239\. The cheap areas we already marked are 219 and 201\. A 240 area already spent. The next expensive sketch at 299 already tagged. Friday the stock also got hit on talk of wider chip tariffs. A tariff headline can move Arm. It does not write a new cheap zone. We sit.

**Robinhood (HOOD).** Last Friday Robinhood closed around 104\. The cheap areas we already marked are 91 and 84\. The expensive print at 110 already tagged last week and failed. 120 is the higher expensive print. Last week was a failed expensive tag, not a cheap one. We sit.

**SanDisk (SNDK).** Last Friday SanDisk closed around 1,485\. The cheap areas we already marked are 1,325 and 998, both already tagged in July. 1,484 is not a zone we wrote. This week SanDisk and Kioxia said they would put more than $31 billion into Japan flash plants through 2032\. That is a long plant plan. It is not a cheap price. We sit.

**Rivian (RIVN).** Last Friday Rivian closed around 16\. We have no cheap zone and no expensive zone written on this name. Nothing to buy until a zone is written. What we are watching is the company, not a price. On Thursday Rivian said CFO Claire McDonough will leave at the end of October. Derek Mulvey, already inside finance, is set to step in as interim. Rivian said it is not a fight. The job change lands in the middle of the R2 ramp. R2 started shipping this summer. A second shift at the Normal, Illinois plant is supposed to show up by the end of this quarter, with real extra volume more of a fourth-quarter thing. A new CFO and a new SUV do not write a buy zone. Until we mark one, we sit.

**Rocket Lab (RKLB).** Last Friday Rocket Lab closed around 64\. The cheap area we already marked is 56 to 60\. Last print is above it. The expensive area at 80 to 87 already tagged and failed last week. If 56 goes, there is a lower floor at 38\. A launch is not a reason to buy it. Rocket Lab flew Electron successfully on August 20 out of Mahia, New Zealand, a radar satellite for iQPS. The next one is already on the calendar. On Monday, August 31, Electron is set for “Owl Around The World,” a StriX radar satellite for Synspective, no earlier than 8:00 a.m. Eastern. That would be Electron’s 94th flight, and Rocket Lab’s 11th dedicated launch for that customer. We will watch whether it flies. We will not buy 64 because a countdown is on. We are watching 56 to 60.

**SpaceX (SPCX).** Last Friday SpaceX closed around 141\. The cheap area we already marked is 105 to 110\. Last print is far above it. 140 is a shelf forming under the price, not a buy zone. The expensive area is 148 to 150, already tagged in August. A launch is not a ticket. Tomorrow morning, Sunday, August 30, Falcon Heavy is targeting 7:26 a.m. Eastern out of Pad 39A at Kennedy, carrying NASA’s Roman Space Telescope. Backup window is Monday at 7:22 a.m. A hold or a fly can move the name on Monday. It still does not make 141 cheap. Next on the crew side is Crew-13, no earlier than September 12, a Falcon 9 from Cape Canaveral at 6:30 p.m. Eastern, Dragon named Grace, four people to the station for about six months. Starship Flight 14 is not dated. People are using mid-September. Treat that as a window, not a promise. We are watching 105 to 110\. We are not buying a launch.

Until a name on this list comes back to a cheap area we already wrote down, cash is the position. A headline is not a level. A level is a place the tape already was.
